per la cultura pop
COMICON was founded in 1998 as the "International Comics Salon in Naples", and then became one of the most active producers of events, exhibitions and pop culture content in Europe.
For over twenty years COMICON has organized international exhibitions (on authors such as Mattotti, Moebius, Bilal, Manara, Liberatore or on Disney, DC Comics, Marvel, Bonelli Editore, Corto Maltese, Manga Heroes, etc. ), publishes comics under the COMICON Edizioni label, represents internationally renowned artists such as Milo Manara and Tanino Liberatore (whose our company also curates exhibitions and official merchandising), and is one of the founding members of the European Comics Festivals Network and of RIFF - Italian Comics Festivals Network.
“COMICON - International Pop Culture Festival” attracts more than 150,000 attendees to Naples each year for four days of comics, video games, cinema and TV series, board and role-playing games, Asian pop culture, music and cosplay, placing it among the largest cross-media pop festivals in Europe. In 2023, for the first time, in addition to the usual edition in Naples, it also comes to Bergamo with three days of festival, already in the official program of the Italian Capital of Culture 2023.
