What Comicon does
for music
Music runs through all the worlds of COMICON, like a "soundtrack" that transversally accompanies the different fields of pop culture. The artists who took turns on the Main stage of COMICON represented all genres, from rock to pop to rap to edm, also selected to cross the sound imagery of TV, animation, and videogames.
Music programming thus enriched the festival's offerings not only with concerts on multiple stages, but also with interviews such as our Music Talks conference series that invites musicians to talk about their cross-media experiences and passions, and a number of exhibitions and workshops.
- A conference series created to highlight in the festival context the work of musicians connected to the many worlds of pop culture. The meetings featured, among others: Sick Luke, official producer of the Dark Polo Gang, Mandark, Voodoo Kid, Melancholia
- Asian and Music together for the K-pop Contest and K-pop battle crew, the nation's top K-Pop dance cover competitions where soloists and crews compete on the steps of the Korean peninsula's most famous hits. The K- Pop Dance Fight Fest is a true Italian K- Pop dance championship designed as a traveling event involving the major Pop culture festivals in Italy and whose national finals take place on COMICON’s stage in Naples.
